- Parking on the street for more than 3 hours.
- Parking more than 30 cm from the curb
- Parking a vehicle with a for sale sign on the road
- Blocking driveways/streets (any parking blocking someone else’s driveway)
- Parking closer than 3 meters to a fire appliance
- Parking closer than 9 meters to intersections
- Parking in the area reserved for commercial taxis
- 2:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. December 1 to March 31 if you parked in (North York) these hours may vary by city. April 1 to November 30
Richmond Hill bans street parking from 3-6 a.m.
- Blocking the sidewalk and standing on the sidewalk
- Parking the vehicle in the opposite direction (parking on the right towards the sidewalk)
- Parking in an intersection
- Parking closer than 9 meters to a pedestrian crossing
- Standing on the bridge
- Stopping in the center lane
