NEIGHBOR’S COMPLAINT LED TO PARKING BAN!

NEIGHBOR’S COMPLAINT LED TO PARKING BAN!

NEIGHBOR’S COMPLAINT LEADS TO PARKING BAN!

A commercial vehicle owner in Scarborough was reported by their neighbor for parking their vehicle in front of their own driveway.

The complaint was deemed valid under the rules, and the vehicle owner was given until April to find alternative parking.

In other words, you may not be allowed to park your commercial vehicle in front of your own driveway!

The person who was reported was shocked by the decision, stating that they had been parking in front of their own driveway for 10 years without any issues. However, once a complaint was filed, the rules were enforced.

WHAT DO THE RULES SAY?

According to Toronto city bylaws, residential parking spaces cannot be used for commercial vehicles, construction vehicles, tow trucks, dump trucks, or vehicles with more than six wheels. However, if you have a closed garage, you can park inside it. Parking in front of an open garage is not allowed.

Imagine having a parking spot at your home but needing to leave your vehicle elsewhere and take an Uber back.

What would you do in this situation?

Wishing you good neighbors and a happy life.
